Eating after or even before a workout can be hard especially for someone that is always on the go like me!
Protein, carbs, and fats are so essential for your body after a workout. Protein helps to rebuild muscles by giving your body the amino acids it needs. Carbs help to replenish your body's glycogen that was used during to workout for energy, and fats also help with muscle recovery, but its a good idea not to eat too many fats after a workout because it will slow down the absorption of your post workout meal. But you will still receive the nutrients from the fats.

grilled chicken with roasted vegetables and rice
egg omelet with avocado spread on whole grain toast
salmon with sweet potato
tuna salad sandwich on whole grain bread
Just make sure you know what goes into your body all day when it comes to trying to loose weight or gain muscle. You don't want to over do it on carbs at lunch and then you do the same for dinner. Make sure you have a good handle on how much you put in.
